Bozeman, Montana (February 21, 2019) – Texbase, Inc., a cloud-based data management and collaboration platform for the textile and consumer products industries announced today the launch of Component Connect, adding to its existing Material Connect platform.
Component Connect allows trim and component teams to eliminate trading emails, templates and PDFs with suppliers in order to collect required fields of information on new and updated trims or components. It works just like Texbase Fabric Connect, which is utilized by many of Texbase’s existing clients to maximize efficiency and reduce development turn time.
The Texbase Winter 2019 version also includes a simplification of the user interface including the addition of informational icons to provide in-application help and support. Search functionality has been enhanced for both fabric and trim suppliers to more easily find materials they want to update in Fabric and Component Connect.
“Component Connect is a significant extension of our existing Connect Platform and exemplifies our continued commitment to provide easy to use, time saving collaboration tools for brands, their suppliers and labs,” stated Brad Comer, Chief Technology Officer at Texbase. He added, “streamlining the data collection, analysis and related communications between teams, frees our customers to focus on innovation and building and shipping great products.”
Component Connect is available, out of the box, and included in the full suite offering when subscribed to Texbase’s entry level Professional Program and Enterprise Solution.
