In order to ensure that every one of its products meets the brand’s exact specifications from inception to market, Black Diamond recently evaluated software solutions to streamline and enhance its product quality assurance processes. In particular, the brand needed a solution that would help mitigate PFAs risks—potentially harmful chemicals used in manufacturing—within their supply chain.
During its evaluation of Texbase’s traceability and sustainability data management software platform, Black Diamond found the ideal solution to streamline its compliance initiatives and ensure its products meet state standards and align with growing market demand for sustainable, PFAS-free options. Texbase's centralized product quality data management capabilities allow Black Diamond to store testing data from across its supplier network in a single “source of truth”, easily track certifications, and respond quickly to PFAS and other changing regulations. It also enables greater supplier collaboration, which is needed to secure PFAS-free certifications and maintain clean production processes across its supply chain.
